They selected North Bradon Farm to create their fantastic hard cheeses while they make their soft cheeses in Trevarrian off the North Cornwall coast. A beautiful old farmhouse over-looks North Bradon Farm which is situated in Somerset, England amidst rich county pennsylvania somerset and lustrous pastures. Cheddar has been produced on farms in the county of Somerset in southwestern England for hundreds of years. Cheeses called "Cheddar" that come from anywhere other than Somerset county pennsylvania somerset and its neighboring counties are merely imposters.The story of Coombe Farm began in 1942 when Andrew Warren started farming in partnership with W. H. Longman. Over the next thirty years further farms were purchased as the business prospered. Mr Warren's motivation in each case was to help someone start in farming and, by working alongside them, help them succeed by lending his knowledge county pennsylvania somerset and expertise. It was Mr. Warren's wish that when he died, a trust be created in order financially sustain his legacy of farmhouse Cheddar production. In 1983 the A. H. Warren Trust was formed, maintaining Mr. Warren's old-world standards at Coombe Farm. The authentic English Cheddar produced on Coombe Farm by master cheesemaker Martyn Gosney is made from rich, local milk county pennsylvania somerset and aged for over 12 months in temperature controlled storage units. We find it to be of excellent quality, possessing all the great traits we've come to expect in a good cheddar - sharp, nutty county pennsylvania somerset and not overly dry.
